The project www.stopcrime.ru is the authorial project of the famous Russian journalist Andrey Kalitin, who has studied for many years the phenomenon of organised crime all over the world. Andrey Kalitin as an writer and author of TV programmes, documentary films and newspaper publications repeatedly analysed the causes of ‘criminal revolutions’ which happened in Russia, USA, and other countries. This project will contain both the original materials by Andrey Kalitin himself and the papers of reporters throughout Russia who work in the genre of journalistic investigation. Besides, there will be excerpts from Kalitin’s book ‘D-Day’ which was published in Russia in February 2007 and which tells about the Russian mafia in one of the essential areas of the country’s economy: in the aluminium industry.
